The Modem is Dead.....Long Live the Modem

Late last week my DSL modem bit the dust. Sad but true. Sad for me because in addition to not having access on line, I found out that I am almost addictied. But during the interval on not being able to go on line was I put to good purpose.

I was able to make a Farmer's Market bag that I have been wanting to make but never had the time.

I do not like to waste anything. Late last year I went to the Farmer's Market and bought a bag of Oranges. I have always liked the net bag that they come in. I always think what a waste to just throw it away. So I saved it and said I would make a carry-all with it. Well, what with work and sewing and then posting, I never got around to it.

I think that the next time I buy a bag of Oranges, I will look to see who has the best graphics, because I will make it again. This one has already gone in the mail.

I like that bag for more uses than just the Farmer's Market. You are clever to see such possibilities from a navel sack.

I went into a horrible stress reaction when we moved and couldn't get access for five days. I was on the verge of a meltdown~
And wow, I love the re-purposed orange bag. Clever!!!

A perfect Farmer's Market bag...lightweight and good looking. I take cloth bags now to the grocery store and try so hard not to need paper or plastic.
