This is Chester. He is very hard to photograph. This cat tree is right by the door and when I come into the house, I sing Stevie Wonder's song "Isn't She Beautiful" but change the words for my handsome Chester. This boy is affectionate and sweet but still has a very wild side (as All panthers do).
He has one very special trick. He asks me to toss a milk ring for him and then he brings it back for me to do it again. He keeps playing for about five minutes and then walks away with out a backward glance. He also, to be completely honest, gets jealous when I talk to Penelope. He will run over her or tease her.
If I could ever photograph his whole body, you would be able to see how sleek he is, just like panther.
He is a sweetie pie.

He's so handsome! What a sweet face! I do have a kitty (Charlie Chowder) who fetches milk rings, he has quite a collection of them! They have to be the kind with the little tab that sticks up because it's easier to pick up. We believe he is part dog...
In person he is just so long and powerful looking. Very panther-like. Here he looks like a big softie.
It's so very hard to photograph black kitties which is why I have so many of sumi (black & white) and so few of oliver...it's like taking a photo of shadows with a couple of gold lights hidden in them, lol!
I so love black kitties and Chester is so handsome indeed. My black cat, Willie sometimes is like a dog too. I think black cats are very special and unique. I will always have one!
