Mr Willie Has Left
Mr Willie has left me. I remain with a broken heart. He was always loving, always forgiving and always willing to comfort me when I was down. He was the sweetest cat that I have ever been connected to. He was an enduring companion and never complained. He was more than a shop cat, he surpassed all levels of cathood. I cannot explain his unique personality, except to say he was the dearest of dear cats.

This cat wore a smile his entire life!
Resilient, sweet and really, it seemed like he always had a smile on his face.
I will miss him.
Annie will miss him.
When he was a kitten (seventeen, or eighteen years ago?) I loved seeing him ride around in the pocket of your shop apron. So happy!
Good bye Willie.
So sorry for your loss...it hurts so much when they leave us..feels like a part of our hearts are torn away. But the love they gave us made our hearts bigger than they would have otherwise been... so we have enough left to go on.
I'm so sorry for this loss...a good friend indeed!
Oh, so sorry! I have never lost a cat in adulthood, one that I have had for more than a few years. Now that we have three aging cats I dread the day.... It is amazing how different they are and how attached one human can become to one cat. Sending good vibes your way....
Oh my dear, I am so sorry to hear about Willie. There is never anything one could do or say to help one get beyond the pain of this kind of loss, as it always takes time. Please know you are in my thoughts, however. I am glad he had a gentle and loving and kind owner for his time on this earth. What more could a cat ask for in life? Please take comfort in this.
All the comments have expressed my sentiments and thoughts also...
thinking of you and holding you in the light...
hugs...
I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Willie, their time with us is so brief, but they always leave such an impression, each one their independent self, and we miss their company...and we always remember them well.
Oh, Pat, I'm sorry he's gone. It's never easy to lose someone you love. Willie looked like a real sweetie.
Sending you hugs,
Katherine
